Trisha Gupta is a senior from Sid Richardson College majoring in Social Policy Analysis and Economics with minors in Earth Science and Political, Legal, and Social Thought. She is passionate about environmental justice, civic engagement, and civil rights. Previously, she has done research into environmental justice in the carbon credits market, worked on several social justice projects relating to civic engagement, criminal justice reform, and education equity through her role as president of Rice ACLU, and been involved with environmental justice advocacy movements on-campus. As a class representative, she is passionate about expanding knowledge of and access to grad school opportunities.
