Welcome to CEE

Raychel is a MS graduate student at Rice University studying Environmental Engineering. She was born in the Woodlands, TX and grew up in Owensboro, KY. Before attending Rice, she graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. At Rice, she will work as a graduate researcher in the SSPEED Research Center. During her undergraduate years, she worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District Office in the Environmental Engineering and Hydrology and Hydraulics Branches. She has also worked for the USACE Engineering Research and Development Center in the Environmental Lab. In her free time she loves to volunteer, travel, cook, read, and run.
