Tiffany Rechsteiner serves as the associate director of development for the School of Humanities at Rice. She joined Rice’s development team in 20019 and fosters relationships between Rice and alumni, parents and friends, connecting their philanthropic and volunteer interests with the school’s strategic priorities and initiatives.

She was educated as a historian, with a particular interest in Early Modern England, and got her start in Development at Yale University after studying there as a graduate student. She subsequently worked in advancement at Stanford University and KQED, the Bay Area’s largest public radio and television station. Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s in History from Wellesley College and her Master’s from Yale University. After graduating from college, she spent two years at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she was the Wellesley-Yenching Fellow, teaching as part of Chung Chi College.
