As the Graduate Administrator, Nyetta manages the administrative tasks of graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rice University.  Focused on recruitment, admissions and retention, she works closely with departmental and other key stakeholders around campus to unequivocally meet the needs of ECE graduate students. Nyetta has worked in the ECE Department since 2019.

Nyetta is a native of Abbeville, Louisiana.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a master’s degree in Human Resource Education & Leadership from Louisiana State University and currently pursuing a Doctor of Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration.  Nyetta has worked in higher education at various colleges and universities in Texas and Louisiana for the past 17 years.
