carti rosati

Serving as the Associate Director of SSI, Carli works with undergraduate students as a holistic advisor and provides leadership to first generation and low income (FLI) support initiatives. During your first year at Rice, you may also see her in the classroom teaching a section of UNIV 110. Carli holds a Master of Education in College Student Personnel. Prior, she earned a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Ohio University.

As a proud first generation college student herself, she understands how meaningful it is to have someone you can talk to about the successes and challenges during your time at Rice. Whether it is in the classroom, at a FLI event, or just walking around campus, be sure to say hi -- Carli is always ready to chat about college life or take recommendations for the latest series you've been watching.

Advising Philosophy: Carli believes in encouraging the power of personal narrative in order to help students thrive holistically. Your story deserves to be listened to – the ideas that excite you, the moments that worry you, and the identities you hold close to you. With community support, self-reflection, and willingness to make small changes for yourself, every student can leverage their strengths to define their path.
