Eileen Huey

Eileen Huey is a recent Ph.D. in Sociology from Texas A&M University, with a major area of concentration is Crime, Law, and Deviance and a minor concentration in Race, Gender, Class and Intersectionality. Dr. Huey’s research engages a critical perspective to investigate wrongful convictions, with a particular interest in both structural and institutional influences on the likelihood of certain types of wrongful convictions. Broadly, her research and teaching interests include criminology; wrongful conviction and exoneration; race, ethnicity and justice; quantitative methods; the sociology of punishment; and genocide.
