I am interested in the regulation of biological processes and how their mis-regulation causes diseases such as cancer. Specifically, I integrate mathematical modeling and systems biology approaches to infer context specific gene regulatory networks and combine simulations and data analyses to uncover how the dynamics of gene regulatory networks give rise to cellular functions. Broadly, my work contributes to the mechanistic understanding of cell cycle progression, cell differentiation, and tumorigenesis. I moved to Northeastern University with Professor Mingyang Lu as an Associate Research Scientist. Previously, I was working as a Postdoctoral fellow with Professor Lu in the Jackson Laboratory, Bar Harbor, Maine.
