Maria Aglietti assumed the role of Associate Director of Marketing and Communications for the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University in October 2023. Prior to her tenure at Rice, Maria served as a Senior Communications Officer at MIT, where she demonstrated a consistent ability to craft and execute compelling communication strategies, design impactful graphics, spearhead programs, develop brand campaigns, refine social media tactics, and enhance operational processes, all contributing to increased engagement, growth, and visibility. Maria's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Arts and Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she specialized in Management Information Systems, Computer Graphics, and Management Development.
